The Rope Dare

One warm, summer morning I was playing truth or dare with my friends by the lake. When it became my turn, I said “Dare” which was a terrible decision. My best friend started to look around and he saw somebody swinging on a rope over the lake and so he dared me to do the same. When I started to do the dare, a crocodile suddenly jumped up out from the water. If my friends hadn't dared me to do this, if my hands had suddenly slipped, if the crocodile snapped its jaw closed, then I might not see tomorrow!
