Running in fear

As I escaped from prison the guards let out their dogs. I could hear them getting closer so I ran into a nearby forest.  I was running for my life, dashing past trees, trying to avoid the branches as the thorns scratched me all over. I could see their red glaring eyes glowing at me in the dark. As I kept on running I knew I needed to take a rest. Petrified, exhausted, breathless, I ran as fast as humanly possible, for dread that this might be the end as the dogs closed in on me, I could not go back.

DO NOT TOUCH

Graham entered the lab, saw a note on a phone saying "DO NOT TOUCH". The Professor said to Graham "This is my new invention but it could grab hold of you so do not touch it!"

The Professor went outside. Graham picked up the phone and said "Wow, it is not doing anything!" but as the word passed his lips a little blue vein came out of the phone and tightened around his arm. The more he tried to get it off, the more it tightened. The more he screamed and shouted the more the vein grew and grew.

Don't accept a dare

It was another hot day and I was meeting my friends by the river. As we arrived I saw a rope swing on the riverbank. When we went over to the swing my friends dared me to try it. When I got onto it I was shaking with fear. I took a run up and then swung out over the river half way and halfway across a crocodile came up and snapped at my foot. If I hadn't accepted the dare, if I hadn't swung out, if the crocodile hadn't been there, I could still wear a pair of shoes.

                                                                              One bad dream

As I lay in my bed tossing and turning "Boxwell stand up and come to the front" the teacher shouted.
So Boxwell did as he was told."A, b, c, d, e, g, k". The teacher was furious. "Boxwell go to the dunce's corner and I will deal with you later". Then Boxwell started muttering under his breath. The teacher said "WHAT WAS THAT BOY you just said". Boxwell replied "Nothing Sir". "Boxwell hold out your hand".

At that point I awoke realising it was all a bad dream and could hear my mum shouting me "GET UP BREAKFAST'S READY".
