The long road ahead

The long road ahead
I start, wondering
Where will it take me?

The long road ahead
Unexperienced, dangerous
Who’s hand shall I hold?
  
The long road ahead
Empty, deserted
Who will share my journey?

The long road ahead
Colossal, nerve-racking
Who will I meet?

The long road ahead
Unknown, untrodden
What should I expect?

The long road ahead
Daunting, exciting
What will it bring?

The long road ahead
Twisting, turning
Will it ever stop?

 The long road ahead
Challenges, experiences
Where will it take me?

The long road ahead
Final, complete
Nothing to tread.
