Boomerang Word Challenge by John Sebastian Davies

THE BOOMERANG SEEMED TO HAVE A MIND OF IT'S OWN !

Hunting initiation started the first of Spring. Father grimaced at my lamentable launch ! We brought a selection of boomerangs, emblazoned with glorious decoration by the tribal elders. Following creek , until Sun traversed azure skies and dancing shadows lengthened , we settled by the shimmering basin that nourished thirsty gidgee trees. So exhilarated to experience that which dreams anticipate. Kangaroo God has blessed us with two hunting boomerangs -- the returner and the larger throwstick. Father redemonstrated by hurling the smallest type.This fashioned wooden whirling hawk brushed leaves and terrified birds with its unearthly sound and violent vibration......

  1. John - Some very well thought out vocab choices. Highlights include: unearthly, nourished, exhilarated and azure. Maybe you could add a few of these to our Literacy working wall.
