The boomerang seemed to have a mind of its own

The history of the boomerang goes back hundreds if not thousands of years.It is traditionally associated with the natives of Australia, the Aborigines.

The Aborigines are tribal and nomadic and they have amazing skills when it comes to living off the land, even in the worst conditions,even the desert. They know all about plants, animals and bugs all of which they eat.

There are different types of boomerang. Some were used for fighting, but they are mostly used for hunting.

I saw a programme with Ray Mears, in which he made a boomerang. Then he tried throwing it. The boomerang seemed to have a mind of its own.
