It was the first game of the
season and me (Joe Root) was selected first to bat. As the bowler ran to the
crease I got my bat ready and the crowd were chanting Joe, Joe, Joe…. And as I hit
the ball everyone in the stadium knew where it was destined. It went for a six
the crowd went wild and the fireworks went off. It felt amazing the first ball
of the season we got a six.
After the match we celebrated
like crazy we had one the match we beat Durum Worcester beat Durum. We won the
cup.
