In a faraway place, a long way from here, there was a little noise, called The Noise. He was invisible, apart from his red, black and blue stripy bobble hat that he never took off. He liked to float up behind people and shout ‘BOOOOOO!’ really, really loudly making the people jump.
One day he shouted ‘Boo’ to a lady in a furniture shop. She fell face down onto a settee in shock.
The next day he shouted ‘Boo’ at a dog. The dog woofed in fright and accidently swallowed The Noise, and then the noise stopped, and didn’t frighten anyone ever again. The End.
