one hundred word challenge - Darcey
In the topmost room of the
tallest tower lay a chilling painting of a young girl imprisoned in a glass
cage however, she hadn’t always been depicted there.
Once she had lived, breathed,
played in the gardens below. She had ignored a warning never to set foot in
there and with curiosity had ascended the marble staircase, pushed the door of
the forbidden room open and stepped nervously inside, astonished to find only a
beautiful array of paints and a plain white canvas; but when a shaft of
moonlight had fallen upon its surface a miraculous transformation had occurred...
The whole of class 2 love this short story. We thought the vocabulary was fantastic! We've added some of the words to our graffiti vocab wall! Well done!
