Year 5 Forest School
Week 3
A-frame ladders, rope swings, sawing, drilling and some whittling with the new knives! What more could you want from a session? Tree-houses, tree-climbing and decorating tree-cookies, well ‘YES’ we did all those things as well!
The forest was alive to the sound of … Year 5 embracing the Forest School adventure. Everywhere I looked was a buzz of excitement, harnessed energy and a desire to complete whatever was being worked on before a hot-chocolate break! I watched Max tie some excellent lashings to his A-frame ladder with Christopher, Jadzia was really keen to produce a butter knife by whittling and carving sticks and the group working near the lower end of the site pretty much built a tree-castle!
