Evie's 100 word challenge
I darted between feet, grass and rubbish, trying to avoid being trampled. Great clunky shoes just missed me; and I gave a sigh of relief. There was a shadow, a shadow of something large, colossal, and extremely daunting. I twisted my black body, and faced the figure. He peered down at me: his eyes full of curiosity. I started to tremble, after all, I am only an ant. His, large knobbly human pincers, scooped me up, and studied me thoroughly. And just when I thought it was the end, I felt the comforting, coolness of a blade of grass. It was nice to be alive!
