Ollie Cooke's Dad's 100 Word Challenge


Stanley had been living in a box all his life. Since he could remember his life had been planned out for him…from the school he went to, the clothes he wore, the job he succeeded, and even the person he married. Everyone thought how happy and successful Stanley was. But it was a smokescreen. Underneath it all, Stanley yearned to escape his designed life. So each night he booked into the flying hotel and become someone else in a dreamscape, from soldier to sportsman to politician. For those few hours everything changed…and then one morning he decided to just…check out.

  2. I think that it is a brilliant piece of writing because of the way it is very gripping and I never wanted it to end. You could have used some speech somewhere in the writing to make it more interactive.

  3. The ending to this writing is brilliant, because it makes you laugh but also think... why didn't he
    just leave before? Great , imaginitive piece of writing.
