100 Word - Boomerang
I drew my breath. Scientist Oliver Cook was about to test the final result of his genius
invention, the mechanical 'it'll come back to you'. He gave a flick of his wrist and it went - the boomerang seemed to have a mind of it's own! Round and round it flew, the vapour trail behind it spelling out ' catch me.' Then it began to hover before shooting back to Oliver who snatched it back with a whip of his hand.
He muttered something under his breath - ' Eureka.' And everyone began to cheer, jumping up and down, shouting ' It came back! Yes!'
