The boomerang seemed to have a mind of its own

I woke up and I heard my mum booming at me "Get up Robbie don't you remember your friend Phillip will be here soon"! I suddenly remembered, I threw myself out of bed and I plummeted to the ground, I threw my clothes on, I rapidly ate my breakfast and I brushed my teeth! I ran to the garden and waited patiently.
But whilst I was waiting I found this beautiful boomerang under my feet. I picked it up and I was about to got to the neighbours and ask if it was there's but I couldn't resist a little go. I was about to throw it but it flew out my hand THE BOOMERANG SEEMED TO HAVE A MIND OF ITS OWN it soared through the air like an bolt of lightning when it came back I grabbed it with one hand!
