Laura's Mum's 100 word challenge

"Sarah! Stop kicking that ball in the house!" Mum exclaimed.
"But Mum!" Sarah cried.
"No buts, Sarah!" Mum replied. "You know what will happen!"

Sarah sighed. None of the other kids had this problem. They had gardens to play in. They were lucky. They didn't live in a floating house above the hills. They didn't have a mother whose job it was to create the "Malvern Microclimate" to ensure that the weather here was different from EVERYWHERE else! And it was all a secret thanks to the cloaking shield!

Sarah felt a hot burst of anger & resentment. Bang! Out of the open window flew the red ball down to the school playground below........
