Dear Diary
Today was my first football tournament.  It didn't go that well as something awful happened.  This girl called Sally, was being really mean and made me lose the ball.  As I hit the ball, everyone in the stadium knew where it was destined.  I couldn't believe it!  It went side to side, up and down and the ball managed to knock out this rather large lady, in the front row.  The referee ran to the lady and started giving her mouth to mouth resuscitation .  I couldn't believe it, my jaw dropped, my very first football match was a knockout!

I was in Brazil when I found an insect museum.  As everyone knows I am a massive fan of insects!  It took a while to queue and who would of thought so many people are interested in insects.  There was even a man who didn't want to wait in the queue, he pushed his way to the front and this made everyone angry:  the crowd shouted and jeered until the man got so embarrassed he left.  The Curator led us around the museum, we even saw a Paraponera Calavata Bullet Ant.  This is a giant ant as found in Brazil.

Chloes 100 Word Challenge

"Right children, we're here", bellowed our teacher.  We were finally here!  Three whole hours of kids shouting in your ear saying "can I have that?" if you've got something yummy in your lunch box.  Honestly, I don't deserve this!  We all scrambled off the coach and formed an orderly line.  Miss called our names from the register ..... Rachel, Livey, Bob .......  But when Miss got to Bob there was no reply.  There was Bob halfway down the road.  "Guys, look at this".  We all sprinted down the road and found an old abandoned bus.  It was as green as my Grandmas pond.  How could this of happened?

It was a normal Monday morning, Mr Warne was happily sat at his desk.  All of a sudden Mrs Matthews came in with a surprised look on her face.  She said "there is someone who wants to see you Mr Warne". Mr Warne looked surprised. It was Immy and she was NOT happy!! "Daddy, I wanted the pink elephant for my birthday, not the blue one!!".  Immy was outraged.  Suddenly, Mr Warne turned a deeper shade of red and steam could be seen from his ears.  The more Immy glared at Mr Warne the more the class roared with laughter.

             It was Monday and I was sat bored in the middle of class. All I could think about was the amazing trip Miss had told us about the previous day. Anyway, it was tomorrow so I wasn't waiting for long.


Today was the day I thought was going to be fantastic and the reason being was because our teacher said we were going somewhere 'mind blowing, exciting' and when we finally got to the place we were all shocked! We stopped at this horrible smelly dump with broken windows. I looked at Miss, had she actually done this to us?! 

Chloe and Evie's 100 word challenge

This is probably the most daunting moment of my life. My house is creaking as it grows older,  and throughout my lifetime, every time I go to bed I hear a sound. Not a normal sound, sort of like a whistling sound. The night before I turned thirteen, the noise grew louder, faster, than any other noise I had heard before. I lay awake in my bed wondering what this could be.  I was exhausted, I have barely slept! 

" Lucy, what is that noise?" Shouted my brother Charlie. 

" I don't know.". I looked up. " Look up, can you see that?"

If I knew the lighthouse was that bad I wouldn't of entered,
If I knew we would be in danger,
If I knew there was no going back: it was too late now!

I warned my friend, Sam, but she is so adventurous she insisted. We made our way into the battered crumbling lighthouse that reminded me of a burnt down ruin. The windows were shattered, and a chill ran down my spine. We both looked in chorus to find in the corner of the room, a small, old lamp. Suddenly the light flickered in the wind, all went quiet!!!

My name is Thomas East, I am thirty.  I work for the local gazette.  The character in my column is called George Sparks.  On Monday something very strange happened when I was writing the rest of my column.  George started climbing out of the paper!  If that wasn't scary enough he spoke to me "Please, please help me?" 
I had to blink twice.  A boy out of a paper who wasn't even real was speaking to ME!
"I have been stuck in here for ages".
"Sorry I ran out of ink" I said.
"Thomas its breakfast time".  I woke up.

My name is Chloe.  I've been looking forward to this day for a long time, today is my birthday.  My mum is dropping me and my friends off in town to go shopping and to have lunch, all on our own.  By the time we made our way into town were starving, it was time for lunch.  We chose this really swish Ice Cream Parlour. We chose the biggest chocolate ice cream you could ever imagine. We all had the same.  Suddenly the rain bounced off the windows. We opened the door but all we could see was water.  How were we going to get home?

    One morning I woke up to find there were beautiful snowflakes falling from the sky. I had to look twice, they were pink! I rushed to the window, then something tapped me on the back...
It was a gorilla, he was sat on a magnificent bicycle and was looking very grand with his black suit and tie. I laughed, was I going crazy? Then as if that wasn't enough he started singing, I stood there amazed. Was this real, even though I was loving it! "Hannn" shouted my mum from a long distance. "Get your cardi on, your going to be late for school again."

"This is where it happened" shouted Leila to Callum. "What?" said Callum "This is the shed George Clooney lived in" bellowed Leila. "Really?" said Callum in surprise "wow". The two of them stood there in amazement, they were both able to touch the shed George Clooney lived in. In the reflection of the shed window they saw a house, a house that looked like no one was living in it. The house had two long windows and one small window that looked like the kitchen window. They stood in amazement  as George Clooney made his way out of the house!

 Jacob was standing on the pavement when an old man gave him a battered , old boomerang. Jacob took it in surprise. Before the old man rushed off he whispered " Take it, it is magic" then rushed off. Jacob took it and ran home, he rushed to his room and then tried it out. But when he threw it, it whizzed back and bashed him right on the nose! 
"How can this thing be magic?" said Jacob.
He left the room but when he came back it was gone. The boomerang seemed to have a mind of its own.

100 Word Challenge

Our story begins on one Christmas Eve.  It was snowing and little Rosie Parker, who was six years old, got told that before she went to bed she was allowed to open one present.  Of course Rosie went for the biggest present.  It was a jumping dog.  Rosie was awfully pleased and her Mum told her it was the last one in the shop!  Her Mum gave Rosie some batteries and let her be.
After five minutes you heard a loud "Mummmmmm"
"What" said her Mum
"But when I put the batteries in it started smoking" it was on fire!

Hello my name is Tommy and today I am going to tell you about my great adventure that happened yesterday with my best friend Liv.  So, I met Liv outside our local museum at 9.00am sharp, and that's when it all began.  We made our way inside and I guess we got totally distracted and didn't see the sign on the door saying danger.  It was like we were being drawn in.  In the corner of the dark room, there stood a huge creepy mirror with lots of different colours surrounding it. We heard something, we had been locked in.

Every day I would wake up to the noise of the nearby local steam train. One day i woke up at the normal time, the train made a shocking screech, and then the noise stopped.I quickly rushed down stairs and shouted as loud as I could to my Mum and my big brother, but there was no reply.I checked in every room and started to get worried. I slipped my blue fluffy slippers on and rushed outside to see what had happened.There was no one there,now  I was getting worried.The question is where has everybody gone?
