100 Word Challenge George Wharton

Albert strolled through the alleyway, as he had done on past nights. The vines were creeping upon the walls breaking through, as though they were reaching out for him trying to grab hold of his leg. His family sent him to buy the milk from the local newsagents.  It was a two-minute walk, but for Albert it seemed like an age.  In his mind he was wandering through the undergrowth looking at all the animals. The cacophony from the animals was getting louder and louder, as though they were trying to warn him of something. What had he done wrong? And then the noise stopped.
