100 word challenge - Phoebe

Vmmmmmmm... And then the noise stopped. I grinned. The coffee was done.Clatter. So was the teacake. "Table thirteen!"My order arrived in the usual rush of chattering waitresses, aprons flashing past. "Do you mind if I have a dog bowl for him?" I asked, lifting up Donut from the squishy bench in my booth. " Of course. You say that like I've never met you before!" laughed Tilly. "Water too?" Donut scrambeled up onto my lap and licked my hand. (Donut is a spaniel puppy.)"I guess," I murmered. " Thankyou." I munched on my teacake. The thing is, there is nothing better than a cafe.

  1. It is wierd how short a hundred and five words is. I love writing about cafes.
