The Bunyip
Yabuya sprinted with the menacing baby, not aware of what lay behind him. The creature was furious and terrified, he only wished he was older so he could fight back. But he wasn't older so all he could do was scream. The boy was to steal the baby just so he wasn't empty handed-in short, he knew he was in monstrous trouble!
As the boy looked back he started to sweat and run even faster. What he saw was a colossal creature. It was a big blue flaming monster.(literally flaming) She had three sharp, pointy, dead teeth sticking out of her mouth and one gigantic eye. If he hadn't cheated, if he hadn't ran, then this monster wouldn't be chasing him.
The creature was gaining on him, the camp was in sight, but it was still half a mile away. He felt like leaving the baby behind, but this was his prize, he couldn't let it go now, he wanted it to much. He knew he was going to endanger his tribe, but he was willing to take a chance.
The fiery being was right behind him. But the camp was so close! Was this the end of this foolish boy?
He had made it, he was at the camp! But so was the monster! It was still flaming, ready to burn them to crisp, all of them. Yabuya knew what he had to do, he had to give the baby back...Yay! Everyone was happy, everyone was safe! The creature had his baby back, the aborigines were safe, everyone was happy! The sun seemed to shine even brighter than ever!
The dreaded BUNYIP used her special powers to make a bright red beam that surrounded the aborigines. The beam came out of the Bunyip's one eye, she was angry, very angry. Even though she had her baby back, she was furious that it was ever stolen.
One by one, their legs started transmogrifying into one ghostly tail, shocked, they tried to escape. But they couldn’t move! Suddenly their clothes turned blue and transformed into their skin. Their heads transmogrified into lumps and sank into their shoulders. Soon their eyes merged into one ghostly eye, they started shrinking, shrinking, shrinking to the size of a baby shark. They were Bunyips!
