Lighthouse 100 by Johnny D.

THE GUARDIAN GHOST
The foundations beneath the lighthouse crumble. Derelict, isolated, and surveying black angry seas. Only base, ancient rock keeps her from disappearing forever. Inside this hulking ruin, nothing apparently stirs. Gloomy and neglected, shattered windows suggest abiosis. Unforgiving sea-rage hacks parts of this structure away as an axe of cruel, final brutality.
Yet this haunted, unsettling refuge speaks. I, O'Leary, shall never abandon my post! Lighthouse Master for twenty-nine years and a day. Through time-worn years I maintain the fluorescense that promises vessels hope in distress. My oath remains true. Stray near the rocks and my ethereal light will shepherd you home.
