Made of more by Xavier

I came from the sea on my own,
I am not like like other clouds - I do not follow like a sheep,
I want to explore the world.

As I glide over the docks I see people coming and going,
boats jetting over the water and tower blocks towering high in the air,
their shadows cascading across the glistening water.
I see people looking up at me and pointing in amazement, dogs howling at me.

The more I did the more I became, the more I saw the more I felt I could achieve.
I saw smoke billowing into the sky, I slowly floated over with lightning strikes
within inches of me, the rain then came.

I am a cloud that is made of more.

Mr Richardson turned a deeper shade of red. Fire came out from his nostrils, steam came out of his ears, his eyes flashed like fire at Oliver. Oliver was not the best on timetables. Mr Richardson's voice was like a volcano erupting, he grasped his cane in his furry hands and pointed it at Oliver. Oliver was like a shivering wreck . Mr Richardson said 'What is 10x9=?' 'I d ..d.. d..d. 'replied Oliver. 'What did you say boy?'. Then Oliver got his black board and wrote 90 then owed Mr Richardson. Mr Richardson paused in his ranting and raving, all went quiet, 'so why did you not tell me first', he said exasperatedly. 100 word challenge

How to draw a real person... by Xavier

My mum said for me to see my uncle in the hill of Wind Tamer. I was walking excitedly up the hill with my brother running ahead of me. From time to time my younger brother would annoyingly run back and forth trying to make me run with him. When my uncle saw us he ran up to us and threw his arms around us,  my brother moaned that we had not seen him for a long time.
My uncle invited us in and asked if we would like to see him finish his sketch.
He started drawing in a graceful manner. His hand swept across the page then the head of the man he was drawing started to wiggle. The more he drew, the man's body started to grow on the page. Then suddenly the man hopped out of the page. We jumped back on the cushions in surprise.

Xavier's Takeaway Homework

Xavier decided to carve a ship out of wood for his creative Homework challenge. This was inspired by The Endeavour ship sailed by Captain James Cook.

He is going to paint it and add sails to complete the project.
What do you think so far?
