My eyes squinted open, the blinding light of the coruscating sun to bright for my eyes. I looked around at my surroundings; I appeared to be on a small stretch of beach , in front of me was a wide expanse of water dotted with mini islands. Frightened, confused and anxious. I trekked towards the hills in hope the trees would offer some salvation.
As I stumbled on I saw the tops of the hills and trees were covered in a light dusting of snow, my spirits lifted, I could melt it for water. In the distance the dazzling sun lowered below the hills, stunning colors of gold, amber and fuchsia filled the sky. Gradually I trudged towards the horizon. Scattered across the island were creatures of different colors roaming the country side as if the world around them posed no threat. Bats circled in the sky above a cool breeze sent a shiver up my spine. A narrow hollow caught my eye, I decide to stay there for the night.
I crept into the cave nervously and carefully as I was unsure what I would find inside. As my eye sight cleared I heard the sound of stone scraping against stone, of dynamite about to explode, of one thousand snakes all hissing at once. It came towards me a tall green creature with pitch black eyes that radiated fear. I sprinted away, the monster right behind me, a tree came into view I swung myself up and hoped it wouldn't pursue. I reached the top and settled down for the night, as I drifted off into a restless sleep my mind filled with questions. Questions I couldn't answer.
My eyelids fluttered open and for a moment I forgot where I was then I remembered last night my head filled with panic and for the first time since I got here I started to cry warm thick tears sliding down my face. I was lost on an island with unrecognizable creatures and no civilization for miles. At that moment I turned to climb the tree eight blood-red eyes glared at me unblinking into mine I screamed, my voice echoed through the valley. The abnormal beast was black as night with not only eight eyes but eight legs too; it burst into flames as the tree around it. I screamed yet again as my skin started to burn, flames licking my hair I jumped out of the tree not paying any attention to the pain that shot through my leg,
I hobbled towards the glistening expanse of water and dived in the gentle waves caressed my sore skin, burnt hair floated in the water around me I kicked up to the surface but something restrained me. A green weed was wrapped around my ankle. I opened my mouth to scream but water filled my mouth; I tugged and tugged however I couldn't come free. As I started to lose conscious and more water filled my mouth a thought entered my head: after all I've been through, was this really the end?

Vicky's 100 WC
It
was a normal day nothing unusual happening and as I sat there at my desk I
looked out of the window. Usually sitting at a desk fifty metres above the
ground with only a wall of glass separating me from a fatal fall terrified me
but today I was completely transfixed by the breath-taking view. As I stared out the window I saw a mysterious white
object float past my office. My first
thought was a vehicle however I scorned myself no vehicle looked anything like
that. As it drifted closer into view I realised
it was a cloud.

Vicky's 500 WC
It was a cold, snowy day in the middle of winter and the bus had broken down because of the snow so we all had to walk home. I strolled down the route I always took when the bus didn't come but something was different today; there wasn't the usual hustle and bustle of people walking their dogs and doing their shopping it was eerily silent, too silent to be natural. I was about to turn back and go home another way when a straw sack was thrown over my head!
I screamed over and over for my mother yet I knew she wouldn't come. I felt my torso be lifted into the air; I shrieked even more, where were they taking me? What would they do? I stopped howling and gasped for breath. Silent tears of fear and desperation crawled down my face, how could I, a puny, innocent, ordinary eleven year old girl be caught up in all this mess? If there hadn't been so much snow, if the bus hadn't been delayed, if I hadn't had to walk home, then I wouldn't be in this mess now. Thump! I was snatched from my thoughts as I was abruptly dumped on the ground and the straw sack taken off my stiff body. I looked around where was I? There was no way we could have got there so quickly; I was in some sort of man made cave which had a circular roof and textured walls. There were steel doors on both sides of the cavern with two guards flanking each exit. I was confused; why did they bring me here I had just thought this when several men walked through the left door yet I noticed they weren't men, they had pointed teeth and razor sharp claws they had unnaturally green eyes and were too tall to be human; then I realized they weren't human at all. They were beasts!
They enveloped me in a tight circle and I knew there was no way of liberation, I estimated there to be around seven or eight altogether. I panicked, how could I escape‽ they started closing in around me; several plans were starting to form in my head but I knew they were all hopeless I tried to concentrate, beads of sweat trickled down my forehead. Nothing formed in my mind I was desperate now hoping for a miracle, when, all of a sudden a colossal creature swooped down from the tops of the domed cave, I couldn't make out any of its features but I guessed it was some sort of cross between a dragon and lizard. It made an abhorrent roar as it flew downward towards me and the other supernatural beings, the doors were flung open and everyone scattered including me, I ran through the nearest exit and plunged straight into continuous darkness. I heard the monster aggressively tearing apart limb by limb what was once my captives, I sprinted on. Was this the end...?

Vicky's 100word challenge
Petrified, exhausted, breathless I ran as fast as humanly possible for fear this might be the end! On and on I ran taking the harder route to try to lose them in the thick undergrowth. I looked back, big mistake I tripped over a hidden tree root and cursed. My chasers were closing in on me fast, panicking I pulled myself up of the floor and stumbled on, quickly going into a sprint but as I ran into the heart of the woods I heard a distinctive sound, one which I really didn't won't to hear. The sound of wolves.

Vicky's 100 WC (poem)
Only I can
Paint my future
only I can chose were to go.
Following the
road I have painted,
Where I will
go I don’t know,
but at least
I’ll have you to help me on my way.
To others we
will say goodbye
With a very
small smile.
But I know
you’ll stay by my side,
There will
be ups and downs,
But you’ll
stay even when I cry.
Whether I am
always good.
Whether I take
the right turn
And when we
part with our last words
Along the
way I will learn,
Not to
yearn, but be grateful for all your help.

Vicky's, Mum's 100 WC
“Right, that’s it! We’re ..”
“NO!” shouted Rupert, “No, No, No! Don’t say it! I’m finally
playing in Saturday’s team, Friday’s lunch is Roast Chicken and Jessica
Gillespie is certain to ask me to her party next week!”
“Don’t be ridiculous Rupert;” said his mother dismissively,
“We’re moving!”
With that the house lurched forward and then up. Rupert
watched with dismay as trees, cars and people became smaller and clouds floated
passed the window. Where were they going? Rupert didn't care. It was always the
same, on a complete whim his parents would move house – quite literally – to a
new country.

100 WC Vicky
It had seemed a very good idea to pick up the phone. It was
just lying there. No one was about. But, now I wished I’d never picked it up.
The more I wished, the more it snaked around my arm! The more it snaked the
more I started to panic. What to do? I pushed the button. Not a good idea, it
just became tighter, my fingers were turning black! I was stuck. I started tugging
at the coils but it didn't do anything, I was desperate now, “Help” I yelled “Help”
but no one came, no one heard...

I
should’ve jumped off at the other side of the river but as always I was too
scared to. Which was a huge mistake because just as the person at reception
said there was a load of crocodiles at the bottom of the river and they were obviously
very hungry so as I was swinging over for the second time one of them jumped
out and tried to eat me... If I hadn’t
went on that swing if I had jumped off at the right time if the crocodile hadn’t
been there then I wouldn’t be dead in the river.

The Itching powder incident
Mr wonklemister was
in a mood, not a good mood a bad mood a VERY bad mood, the type of mood which
means trouble! Someone had put itching powder all over Mr Wonklemister’s office
and they were going to pay. The only problem was no one actually knew who did
it, so Mr Wonklemister and Miss egleburt were trying to get to the bottom of it. To
start off with they searched everyone’s pockets but couldn't find anything so
they called an emergency assembly to try and make someone confess but no one
did, after that they just gave up.

“England vs. Italy, a very good game, is not going very well.”
My friend quoted. I wasn't listening to her as I was more interested in watching
a big ball thrown around the raised seating of the stadium. It started to climb
higher I was itching to hit and as it reached me the hole stadium went quite as
someone from Italy ( I wasn't sure who it was) was about to score. As I hit the
ball, everyone in the stadium knew where it was destined it hit the goalie right
in the middle of his head. Italy scored.

There was an ant. No one liked this ant: he was very big
and very scary; whenever another animal came near they would always try to avoid
him even the anteaters where scared! One day this ant decided to take a walk.
He was walking along when he heard something crying, he turned the corner and
there was a baby rabbit. He asked what was wrong and the rabbit told him that
he couldn’t find his mummy. So the ant went and got his friends they carried
the baby rabbit to her mummy. After that no one hated the ant.

Vicky's 100 word challenge
One
day Worcester warriors had a very important match. Unfortunately for us this
day was a school day so Mr Warne Made us all watch. It had only been five
minutes and already the Worcester warriors were being thrashed, the more the
other team scored the more angry he became. After another hour of Mr Warne
screaming at the screen suddenly, Mr Warne turned a deeper shade of red and
steam could be seen from his ears the Worcester Warriors had lost! We all knew
what was coming next. “MATHS ALL DAY!!” bellowed Mr Warne we all groaned in
misery...

Vicky's 100 word challenge
I couldn't wait; we were going to my auntie’s house - for the first time! It may sound boring but actually it’s not just any normal house, it’s a ancient castle! My
Mum said the views were amazing and that the rooms were luxury...
However when
we got there it wasn't exactly how I’d imagined it. The castle was a ruin and
my aunties family lived in a small cottage covered in vines. Unfortunately we
had to sleep in a ‘luxury’ room. I kept on asking myself the same question “Why
was I so exited before‽”.This place was a dump!

That was never going to happen! So they started sending out mathematicians but they all got devoured. One of the hunters said “Look up! Can you see the monster?

100 word challenge Vicky
Imagine
a place where everyone is happy, were everyone is friends: This is where I used
to live. Ross Island is a lovely island where I grew up, but when I went there
again it was different. The houses were old and unkept, nobody was friends
anymore, it was horrible. I decided to go down to my favourite place on the
island; the old lighthouse. As I turned around the corner to the light house I
stared in horror. The foundations were crumbling like a digestive biscuit and
the windows had been shattered like pieces of ice, it was terrible.

100 word challenge Vicky
We were only a few hours into the flight when a storm
struck!
We were trying to keep flight but eventually we had to bring
the plane down. We landed on a small desert island. In fact it was so small you
could see every side! Everyone looked around but all we could see was water .We knew we’d be there
some time. We decided to start setting up a camp; me and my friend went round the
island to look for wood. A few days later after I got back from a long walk I
saw a rescue plane...

100 word challenge Vicky
Once upon a time there was a grand pink tower and at the top of the tower there was a Gorilla. The tower was guarded by a green Cat. 1000 years later a fat guinea pig found out and decided to try and rescue the Gorilla. He rode on his minuscule bicycle to the tower. He thrust out his sword and sliced the cat in half pushing the dead cat into a bush. He laughed, grabbed the keys to the tower, opened the door, ran up the spiral stairs and rescued the panicking Gorilla. After that they got married and they lived happily ever after.
